When we started planning for this years Race for Tara 3 we really wanted to make a statement. I can't stress enough what ALL of your support means to not only me, but all of those living with SCI. This accident has tested me to the absolute fullest extent and will continue to, but I am learning what I am made of. When you have an accident like this you do your best to seek out the best possible doctors, physical therapy, and researchers. Well, I believe that we have found it in the Christopher Reeve-Research Center Irvine. There they have the leading researchers that I truly believe will find a cure for SCI (Spinal Cord Injury). Going into this years event I called the Research Center to let them know that I would do everything I could to help them find that cure so that I could get up and out of this chair. They immediately wanted to be part of our event and will be sending Tania Cusack to share what kind of work they are doing at the center.
